Started at Beachlands just after 12. Rigged big kit which was o.k. at first but quite soon became a handful. Gybes were an act of faith, and not much of that. Packed up and moved to Esso Beach around 3 (high water at 5). Went for the same sail but again I really should have gone smaller all day. Gybes were much easier and I only dropped a couple thanks to the smoother water. There was a big swell though, by Langstone Harbour standards and blowing old boots.

Packed up around six thirty absolutely knackered but having had a brilliant day.
